Walking Through Fire; Rising From Ashes (My Story)

Hello Beautiful Woman of God,

I have been in an introspective mood lately. As things are getting busier on the outside, I am being called inward. I have been reflecting on my life and what is “working” and what is not. It is so easy (for me) to get caught up in activity and forget the small things (like proper rest, exercise, fun time). So, I have started using an online eating and exercise log at http://myfitnesspal.com .

I started going to my bedroom at 10 pm (instead of 1 am or later) and listening to “soaking prayer” (letting the Holy Spirit wash over me). I am really enjoying this playlist set up by the facilitator of the “5 Day Holy Spirit Intuitive Challenge’, She has a new challenge coming up May 9- 13 on Facebook if anyone is interested.

I also bought some Essential Oils from a Christian (non- MLM) company called Edens Garden and I am so excited to try them. I will let you know my thoughts about the product. They are very reasonably priced and have their own version of essential oil blends you may be familiar with from other companies. You can join as an Aroma Notes member and get rewards toward purchase. To find out more here .

Okay, I got a little bit sidetracked. The title of this blog post is “Walking Through Fire: Rising From Ashes.” As, I mentioned I have been introspective lately. I was recently interviewed for a podcast about being a Christian entrepreneur. As I was preparing, I realized just how far my life has come. A few years ago I had lost everything and had to rebuild. I made a choice to build on a strong foundation, the strongest foundation- Christ. Everything I do now is related to that decision. Also, everything I have now (joy, peace, self- respect, restoration……) and, yes, my business, is related to making Christ my foundation. I encourage you to listen to the podcast episode (God Can Change a Life, on Your Grief is Dying by Lisa Mayhew)

Please reach out to me if you are encouraged by my testimony or wish to share your own story of redemption. You can comment on this blog, or email me at mailto:phoenix@life-in-bloom.ca or go to the contact page at Contact

I also ask you to please download the free gifts I have offered on the home page, especially “215 Things That Are True of Me Now That I am Saved: My Identity in Christ”

If you have not yet given your life to Christ but are feeling a nudge inside yourself to start over, and start fresh- please listen. God speaks through a small, still voice.

It is never too late to develop a strong foundation, You are not alone and you are very much loved.

Talk to God and say

“God, I have tried it my way and it did not work. I made a mess of things. I am sorry, please forgive me. I ask you come into my heart. I let go and choose you to be the foundation of my life.”

God will meet you where you are at and lift you up. I know it. I have experienced it. You too have walked through the fire and survived and will rise from the ashes and thrive.

Keep Bloomin’ in HIM,
